GISRUK is an international conference which has grown out of the UK's national GIS research conference, established in 1993. It has been held at venues across the UK and the Republic of Ireland, with the 2021 Conference being hosted by Cardiff University.
Two academics in the Accessibility Modelling and Spatial Inequalities Group were invited to chair sessions at the Cardiff conference. Gary Higgs chaired the session on Modelling Community Assets, and Mitch Langford chaired the session on Environmental Applications, both held on Friday 16th April. Full details of the programme and abstracts are available online.
