It is our pleasure to announce that Andrew Price was today awarded a PhD for his thesis entitled “Enhancing our understanding of accessibility to sport in Wales through geospatial analysis”, subject to amendments. This was a KESS funded PhD supported by our partners Sport Wales.

Andrew was supervised by Dr Mitchell Langford  and Professor Gary Higgs, both of the GIS Research Group, and Dr John Radcliffe (Sport Wales). 

We would like to thank the efforts of the examiners, Dr Samantha Cockings (University of Southampton) and Dr Janusz Kulon (USW), and Dr Daniel Cunliffe (USW) for Chairing the proceedings.
